91 YEARS AND COUNTING........
Chicago Park District Golf has a rich and storied history in the city and beyond. Between the facilities themselves, the work that has been done to maintain them and the guests that have frequented them for years, the golf courses have been a constant in so many people's lives. This history is coming full circle, once again, on August 11 and August 12. Waveland Golf Course, as so many still remember and call it, now Sydney R. Marovitz will be hosting the 91st Annual Midwest Amateur Tournament.
This event is one of the many golf tournaments that are held, throughout the golf season, at the Chicago Park District golf courses. For two days some of the best Amateur golfers in the Chicago-land area battle it out for fun and prizes, but, most importantly, for 365 days worth of bragging rights! Whether coming to test your game or simply a fan of fun, interesting golf events, we hope to see a number of folks come on out to join us August 11 and August 12 for Number 91! The only way an event, or anything at all quite frankly, can thrive for 91 years is amazing support and participation. We are looking to see a tremendous amount of both at Sydney Marovitz (Waveland) for this event.
